This Privacy Policy explains how Aurora Sparq (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use aurorasparq.com and related services (the “Service”), including the Isabella AI chat experience.

1. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account information — name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form).
• Conversation data — messages you send and receive, conversation identifiers, and related metadata used to operate chat, memory, and personalization features.
• Usage data — approximate activity such as message counts, subscription tier, feature usage (e.g. voice notes), device/browser type, and basic logs needed for security and reliability.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may store subscription status, customer IDs, and related billing metadata from Stripe.
• Local storage — tokens and preferences stored in your browser (e.g. login session) so you can stay signed in.

2. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Generate AI responses and optional features (including memory and voice)
• Process subscriptions and customer support
• Monitor abuse, security incidents, and service performance
• Comply with legal obligations

3. AI processing

To generate replies and related features, message content and limited context may be sent to third-party AI providers (including xAI and, where enabled, other model or embedding providers). Voice features may use a text-to-speech provider (e.g. ElevenLabs). Do not share information you are not comfortable processing through these systems.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers — hosting (e.g. Render), payments (Stripe), AI/TTS providers, email or infrastructure vendors as needed to run the Service
• Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain account and conversation data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account; some records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information (including encrypted transport and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Age requirement

The Service is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Your choices

• Update account details where available in the product
• Log out and clear browser storage on your device
• Cancel a subscription through your Stripe customer portal or by contacting us
• Request access or deletion by contacting us (see below)

9. International users

The Service may be operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, you understand information may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our providers operate.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
